Thoughts: I loved, loved, loved this book. After I finished reading the Bodyguard series (one of my personal favorites) I thought I would never find a series like that again. Well, thankfully I was wrong. Alex Rider is just like Bodyguard, but more exciting and filled with even more action. I also loved this book for all the cool gadgets in it. For example, a tube of acne cream that's really acid, and a yo-yo that has thirty yards of super strong nylon rope. Another thing I loved about Alex Rider is Smithers. Smithers is the person who supplies Alex Rider with all of his gadgets, and is always the funniest character in the book. Overall, I loved, loved, loved this funny, action-packed, innovative book.
