Rating: High Five

Who I'd Recommend to:  Fans of Land of Stories, School for Good and Evil, and the Lunar Chronicles

Synopsis (from Amazon): Maddie is going to let Holden badmouth Aladdin all he wants. Whenever he makes fun of a fairy tale, the two stepsiblings find themselves sucked into the story to fix the problems he causes. Maddie is so ready to be a glamorous princess. But the part she's actually going to play is . . . no, it's just too cruel!

Thoughts: This book is better than amazing. When I read book one in the series, I thought that nothing could be more funny. But when I finished reading book two, I was eating my words. Now, on book three, I'm eating my words again. I loved how Jerry Mahoney is able to write characters who keep learning that you shouldn't destroy a story - yet they keep doing it. I also loved the relationship between Maddie and Holden, because one second they can be attacking each other in an argument, and the next wishing each other good night and tucking each other in bed. Overall, I loved this times infinity. This was a HILARIOUS, better than amazing book.

NOTE: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review. All thoughts are my own.
