Rating: High Five

Who I'd Recommend to: Fans of funny, creative books

Synopsis (from Amazon):
Mimi Slickton is your average suburban, law abiding granny, but when her husband dies and the bank freezes her account, she decides to take the law into her own hands. With the help of the 'Ladies Organised Outings, Nights In, Event Society,' or LOONIES, as they like to be known, Mimi, in the guise of Hacker Gran plans to hack into the bank and claim what is rightfully hers. What she doesn’t know is that her grandchildren, Jake and Emma are planning exactly the same thing! If you like heartfelt, warm, honest comedy then you will love Hacker Gran.

Thoughts: This book was an amazing, hilarious, innovative book.  Although the first chapter didn't immediately hook me, this story got better and better until I was totally absorbed by it and couldn't be shaken away I loved how there was two different groups trying two different things, and do it in totally different ways, and how this all ends with totally different outcomes. This was fun (as well as humorous) to read. I also loved the cat, who always stuck along for the funny, creative ride. Overall, I thought this was a  fantastic book.

Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review.
